•How is the ceramic composition attached to the metal ring?

The ceramic part of the ring is not attached to the base, but is fired layer by layer at a very high temperature. As a result, the metal and ceramic become one.

•Why is medical steel used and not silver or gold to make the ring?

The metal base of the ring is large. Using a gold alloy would significantly increase the cost of the product. Silver alloy distorts the color range of ceramics.
